Has Anyone Had Dental Problems Whilst Takin Alendronic Acid?
I am 57,have NEVER had toothache up to now. Cant help wonderin if alandronic acid anythin to do with this? Been takin about 2months.
I believe that the osteoporosis meds contribute to sore gums and teeth.

I have osteopenia of more than 10 years duration. My MD would like me to take Fosamax. I have bad teeth--I receive regular dental care and floss and brush with prescription strength fluoride toothpaste like I'm supposed to, but I have numerous crowns/fillings, 4 implants, I've had several root canals and broken teeth. Is Anyone Else Taking Prolia With Side Effects?
I started Prolia two years ago because Actonel wasn’t working. I now have recurring sciatica, which is a side effect of Prolia. A year ago I got cortisone injection for pain.
I also take medicine for acid reflux which counteracts bone density medicine.
I have just discontinued my prolia twice a year injections because of the sixe effects..Insomnia, very itchy skin, unable to walk very far. Am hoping this will end soon
