I had been taking Forteo injections for two years and did have an increase in my T-score, especially the hip area. Then once off for a few months for some dental work before starting Prolia, I fell and broke my hip. Now I experience anxiety, experience thigh pain when I am up for an extended period of time.

My mother took Fosamax for over 8 years and still broke her hip. I have friends who have tried the shots and still broken bones. What have you found the most effective treatment for osteoporosis? I am also trying the exercise program by Margaret Martin. I already exercise daily and this helps me focus on a program particular to osteoporosis; including tips on what not to do. I have recently had a mysterious pelvic hip fracture so my dr has recommended Prolia injections. Just seeking some info on your experience with this treatment. Did it increase bone density?
