Prolia

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭
Drums, PA

Had to have a tooth pulled which everyone knows is not good after being on biphosphanates. Watching very closely for any infection. Started the prolia about 3 weeks ago. First time I have ever had side effects from one of these drugs. I was waking up in the middle of the night with pounding headaches. Thank God that stopped. Just having allergy symptoms all the time. Oh well just keep going on. Anyone else had problems with prolia?

A MyOsteoTeam Member

I do have gerd, don't think its from the Prolia. Not really a side effect

Alendronate Or Alendronic Acid Has Anyone Found That This Medication Exacerbates Existing Arthritis Joint Pain?

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭
Atlanta, GA

I am starting to suspect that flaring of my existing arthritis joint pain is connected with my use of this medication. It began a few weeks into my use of weekly generic Fosamax, and flares up anew each time i take another weekly dose.

I see Dr. Ybarra and he is really good. My son goes to him and he got me in. Just had the ablation done on Monday. Sure do hope your back improves. I wasn't a candidate for surgery either.

What Specific Foods Do You Take To Help With Vitamin D?

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭
Sheffield Village, OH

I drink the orange juice with calcium and vitamin D and take 400mg of calcium citrate a day with D but want to start improving my eating habits now. I will be starting Tymlos within the next few weeks and want to get a head start and begin to fill my refrigerator and cupboards with more healthy options. Adding too much exercise will be more difficult so I am starting with water aerobics/exercise to get back in the habit of doing something regularly. I lost a lot of weight & this time without… read more
