Pittsburgh, PA

Earlier this week I was diagnosed with osteopenia in both my left hip and knee. I have read that phenytoin/Dilantin can cause osteoporosis. Have any of you had similar experience? What action(s) did you and your doctor take? Did you change your meds?

@A MyOsteoTeam Member,
I wish doctors could get their acts together! One says no arthritis, the next one says I have arthritis. 🤔

I read a lot of people saying they are taking calcium and vit D3 for their osteo. Calcium and vit D3 have lately been proven not to work together. These papers are available online. Dr Berg in this video explains it. I hope this will help people who are confused with which treatments are good. https://youtu.be/A_oadHYkoV0

I take collegen every day in powdered form, vit D3 5000IU per day, vit K2 MK7 180mcgs per day along with magnesium, zink. 😃
