I have the Grow Bone from Garden of Life. I am afraid of the prescriptions. I broke my leg femur first then the tibia fibula just walking.

Since Algaecal is pricey....I looked up what’s in it & made my own formula...lol....Alive for Bone Health & Strontium. Research it.....it has all the same stuff as Algaecal....For a lot less.

The probiotic I am taking is Life -space with the strain of L reuteri in it.

I was on Strontium a few years ago for 2 yrs and then my GP suggested I go off it because of bad reports. I think it helped my bones a little bit. Now I just take Calcuim with vit d, plus a vit k2 capsule, plus a probiotic that has a strain in it which helps osteoporosis.

I have been taking Strontium for 15 years with no side effects. I also take BoneUp. It does have vitamins D3 and K2 MK7, also Boron which many calcium supplements do not contain.
I've never had a break but do have kyphoscoliosis. Stontium blocks Dexa rays so results are skewed showing better results than may be accurate.

I have been on the AlgaeCal with Strontium for over a 6 months and I have been on Strontium for a couple of years with no side effects..I have not had a bone density in over a year so dont know the results of these pills..Time will tell..
