Hi I am new to this site have question.I was diagnosed with osteoporosis last year.I am female age 63.My doctor prescribed Evista. I have started and stopped medicine because I am concearned of warnings about side effects.I had surgery for varicose veins and concerned about deep vein thrombosis .I never had that but had a superficial clot after surgery not deep vein.Also how much calcium and vitamin D should I take.Any help appreciated.
