Alendronate Or Alendronic Acid. This Is The One My Dr Prescribed. Do People Always Have Side Effects And Which Effects Are More Common?
Okay Rene so there is a valid reason for no infusions. Others on this site have fantastic ways to help strengthen your bones. Hopefully they will jump in with ideas. Vit D is essential, my Endocrinologist put me on the correct dose. Calcium needs to be monitored if there are kidney issues. Vit K2 is good for directing calcium to the bones from the blood. Do your research and consider seeing an Endocrinologist. You will find help so don’t give up. 🌺
It often upsets the stomach. I have a difficult stomach so have the annual infusion of Reclast instead.
Rene, that’s a really good start. We feel so much
better when we are part of the solution 😊
ReneCossett.
Is your kidney healthy and functioning well ? If so why would you not be able to have Reclast? I have the infusions and knowing a side effect is urinary tract infections I take cranberry tablets and drink 2 litres of room temperature water every day.
So far so good. Hugs xx
Helen I wish I could have Recast. I had it once it worked really well. I’m not able to have it again because I only have one kidney.
Am Really Concerned About Starting Alendronic Acid, Already The Adcal I'm Taking Had Caused Horrendous Constipation, Any Tips? Thank You
