Hi Maureen , as far as I know it’s with us for ever , meds ,supplements , exercise & diet can help to contain it .Some of our friends on here have gone from Osteoporosis to Osteopenia which is better . You will get opinions, advice from our friends on here .I have Prolia injections 2 x yearly , Calcium+ vitamin D & K2 & walk everyday . I have another BDS in October to see what’s happening with my bones !
Do you ever get rid off osteoporosis or do you have it all the time , I’ve just diagnosed with it what is good for it
Your doctor, if nothing else, will be able to give you names of books about diet and nutrition. You should be able to find a physical therapist that will help guide your exercises to get the best result. They may be doing virtual appointments only, but they will give you a good starting point.
