I take a calcium supplement 3x/day. How many hours apart shoukd they be taken?

I take mine with food 6 or 7 hours apart, 3 times a day.

I think the amount you are taking is too much. From what I've read, our bodies will not absorb more than 500-550 mg at a dose. Please do some research too. I take 550 mg twice a day along with D3. As previously posted, too much calcium is not good on our bodies. There is lots of good information out there

Hi Lynne
I was told to find calcium chart. It calculates how much calcium you get from food and it helps you find out how supplements are needed.
I found too much calcium is hard on the system, so I reduced it more. Just make sure to take vitamin D with it. I only take 300mg a day of calcium.

You can absorb 500 mg at a time from what I have learned.

I take 2 calcium supplenents every 6 hours, 3x/day, which is a serving of 1,000 mg.
