My GP googled it right in front of me! Go to an endocrinologist who specializes in osteo.
Tracy, broken vertebrae are a whole new situation! It must be excruciating!
I have had this since around 1998, but it just started affecting my ability to walk this year. I have other health issues so the docs don't see it as a priority.
I watch the videos by Doctor Paris and those help the most. Cutting out gluten and sugar really help. Eating pineapple helps. I try to only take natural products for pain. Right now I take kratom and turmeric curcumin and occasionally Tylenol if it gets bad. Mostly it doesn't unless I overdo exercise or sit too long in one position. I prefer swimming, but don't have good access to a pool. Working on findin̈g a gym my insurance will pay for.
It's shocking Michelle, I've also been diagnosed with ostepenia (I have a different GP practice) but have been given no information or advice .....
