Sorry to hear this. Try buying a pair of Hoka Biondi running shoes with a good orthotic. The Hokas have a substantial heel support. That’s what I did. I purchased Aetrex orthotics. Hope this helps. You might seek an opinion from a good podiatrist as well.

I also have osteo in my feet...i love swimming and snorkelling but when i wear flippers omg...I have orthotics which help slightly as I also do geocaching (requires lots of walking). But now I have osteo in my back and a compression fracture, one of my discs which I broke in 2006 is half its size. But definitely see a podiatrist.

Do you have a Good Feet store near you? Maybe inserts will help.
