Tinalorraine I am on the reclast infusion after having bad side effects to prolia and am not having any side effects to the reclast infusion. I usually get achy with 24 hours after getting it but once you get past the first 48 hours I have felt better than I did on the prolia

Yes they were from the Prolia since I went off it and on the once a year injection of Reclast all my symptoms have went away and cholesterol is back to normal and sugar is going down closer to normal.

So many side effects from Prolia it's concerning. My cholesterol is high and I take a statin. I'm careful what I eat most of the time. It's still going up, slowly. Part is genetic. I cannot take oral drugs for osteoporosis because it locks up my jaw. I had tmj years ago. When I stopped the drugs my jaw returned to normal. 4 days after my last Prolia shot I got a bad headache and extreme pain in my neck. I had to take muscle relaxers, which I don't like to take, it makes me very tired. I also went for xrays which opened a can of worms which showed arthritis in my neck. Adding to my arthritis in my back. I then had to go for physical therapy 4 sessions. It seems it's always side effects after I get the shot every 6 months. I've been on Prolia 2 years and just had a bone scan last Thursday. Needless to say I'm nervous about my next Prolia shot in April.

Prolia been bad for me also been told I might need to go on infusion but really worried bout that also I was young when got osteoporosis had emergency hysterectomy at 21 and not allowed hrt so I have never produced hormone oestrogen since then having problems with my hips now and I've only just turned 53 x
