I Have A Question. I Want To Get Heel Inserts Made For My Shoes
but I'd love to know what casual shoes either tennis shoe or causual dress shoes are good for hip and lower back issues? Thanks!
I wear orthotics in my running g shoes
@A MyOsteoTeam Member I just saw some shoes by Clark that are designed to be both fashionable and act as an orthotic. They support the arch, sandal style, and claim to help people with Osteo problems and feet issues. In the alternative, find shoes you love and have a custom orthopedic insert made.
Hi. I mostly wear Reebok Princess style for walking my dog & being outside. They have done well for me. I just badly need a new pair. Not related to those shoes but had toes problem & cutting my toe nails. PCP sent me to a wonderful podiatrist. I use to have high arches both feet. (One of arches has fallen cause I didn't realize how important it can b to not wear same uniform shoes in NPS day after day for too long. Shoe support got weaker. Should have had several pair to alternate.)
Present day - the podiatrist led me to proper shoe insert/arch support from Amazon from company called PCSsole for my other shoes. I do want to research the Clark sandals mentioned. Thanks. London ♥️
Cathy thank you so much for sharing these details with me and suggestions. Really is welcomed as I make some choices in my feet health and of course that impacts the other body parts as well. Again thanks and wishing you the very best :) Judy
I have been wearing Clark’s shoes for years. The ones I enjoy the most are the summer sandals with the arch support.
The shoes I wear are ZCOIL….sneakers and sidewinders. My daughter and I go on a tours to Europe, and I definitely rely on those shoes. They help with heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, and most of all they help my lower back. You can read about them on the internet…most importantly, they should be adjusted to the way you walk, that is done by adjusting the heels. The shoe store who sells them will do it for you. I do my own now because I have worn them for a long time. It takes a little while to get used to them, but I like them. They’re a little heavy compared to your other shoes, but you start out wearing them one hour a day and then work up to wearing them more often. I would have never been able to walk as much as I do with out the. Just my personal experience.
Be healthy and happy.
Cathy
