Is It Ok To Do A 10 K Or Half Marathon If You Have Osteoporosis
I get spasms after running. Should I be running at all
Thank you Pam
After doing a lot of research, my personal opinion is that anyone with osteoporosis should NEVER run for any reason. When you run, you risk the chance of falling and landing much harder on whatever you land on, and the faster speed multiplies your chances of a fracture or break, or even compression fractures in your spine.
