Age For Dexa Scans And Recommendations For Calcium As We Age
I’m pretty young for having osteoporosis. Diagnosed at 49 with no known reasons to be concerned. Dexa scans aren’t usually recommended until a later age. The only reason I found out was I had a broken bone and a scan was recommended. Calcium was probably not a focus for me as I got older so I’m wondering if that had something to do with it.
