Medicare limits me to one DEXA scan every two years.

I have it every year..Medicare pays..I was diagnosed with osteopenia..on reclast..numbers have gone up every year but last year number went down in hip.. Its all in how the doctor codes it..so now extra d and calcium..next dexa scan march 2024 have had them every year for 3 years..do your homework

Medicare will pay for a DEXA scan every two years. Like any other x-ray that you get, it’s not good for your body.

Every 2 years for a bone density test I don’t know what the full body scan timeframe is
