What Is The Best Way To Treat Osteoporosis In Natural Ways My Doctor Said There Is None. I Find That Hard To Believe
I decided to try a natural route. I am taking a supplement called Bone Maximizer One and Collagen. I have been taking it for about a year. I just had a scan and the numbers are:
Lumbar spine increased from -2.7 to -1.9
Left femoral neck from -2.6 to -2.3
Right femoral neck from -2.9 to -2.8
I am also exercising and trying to eat healthy. I am pleased with the change and my hip joints were hurting prior to beginning this program, but they have quit. I am 83 years old and in good health.
Yes ma’am it’s very important to keep active as we can
Wow you rock-that's great. I may look into that product.
I have taken Prolia for about five years with little improvement in my bone density. I use plant based calcium. It is advertised as better absorbed than the mineral calciums. I broke my wrist 15 years ago and no fractures since. I am very active with yoga and pickleball and walking.
Hi
I too have been asking that question- the nurse practitioner I see for my Prolia told me medication is only help for osteoporosis. I’ve been on Prolia about 8 years - no side effects but only minimal improvement in bone density - mostly my drnsoty is not getting worse. I walk and exercise almost daily and take 500 calcium and 1,000 Vit D daily.
I have had some foot Fx- hope yours heal quickly😍
