Thank u so much for the link. It looks good. I'm slowly changing some of the foods good for kidneys. Had some delicious cabbage with my lunch. Before I hardly ever ate cabbage, it's a good vegetable & now I'm making a point of eating it more often. Taking the place of potatoes which has too much potassium. Wishing u the best. Keep reading & studying & doing. That's what I'm doing. Hugs. London ♥️
Thank you for your reply . I am hopeful to hear that weight bearing
exercise and nutrition alone can increase bone density without medication.
From what I read, you should not take bisphosphonates for more than 5 years. The risk of developing atypical femoral fracture or osteonecrosis of the jaw tends to increase the longer you take bisphosphonates.
I am so sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis . Your dietician should be able to assist with meal planning. I have high cholesterol so I have to watch what I eat and still get in my calcium and protein. I find using an app like my net diary keeps me on target.

Yes, diagnosed June 2021. Did nutrition, weight bearing exercise & some supplements. My 2 yrs scan showed improvement 5.8%. Diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease 3a a month ago. Kidney diet does not allow much dairy & some other changes. The 2 diets OP & Kidney sometimes go against each other....it worries me. I'm going to specialist May 16, hope I can talk to dietician to find out how to mesh diets together. I hate to harm my bones by trying to take care of my kidneys. 🙏 Hugs. London ♥️
Also take supplements.
Hi Janet 48. I also do weight bearing training , Pilates, High quality bio identical hormones.. Saw a nutritionist and eat clean. My bone density did improve.
Hate the drug side effects.
