With my short fingers and this bulky injector, it is easier to let hubby give it to me. I find the area on my tummy or thigh for him to do it and pinch the skin up and he injects it, keeps it there for ten seconds and that is it. Most of the time it is quite painless, but about a third of the time it hurts from the time he sticks… read more

@ AprilBunch, I have not been on Tymlos. I have prolia injections once every 6 months, without many side effects.

I have a Prolia jab every 6 mons at my Doctors and it is quick and painless - You must be having something else I am not familiar with. Is it cortisone jab? Must be very uncomfortable for you to have this jab so often!

I sure get that. Most of the times it does 't hurt, but about 1 in 4 times it hurts from the time he sticks it in and the entire 10 seconds until he removes it. Hope your day is great!

@A MyOsteoTeam Member, hang in there.
I don't think prolia injection is helping me much either.
Though I would not like an injection every day.
Lucky u have hubbie to do it. Take care, Hugs Josie x

Morning! I sure hope it helps you my friend. It quit helping me, so this is the new treatment plan. Been two weeks with the bedtime injection. thankful my hubby gives it to me. I have been having daily headache since taking it. Thankfully I can usually get them under control before they turn migraine. I go today for a spinal epidural for my back issues. Praying that helps. You have a blessed day.
