When I first was diagnosed Dr shoved fosamax with no explanations. I was researching OP on my own & came across this site. I read every post & article here possible! I found out OP is not a death sentence & I found out about supplements, , weight bearing exercise & good OP nutrition. I was not feeling well after a few weeks of the med & decided to try this more natural path. At my 2 Yr bone scan there was 5.8%
improvement....so I continue.
Research as much as u can. I felt I could give myself 2 yrs & then check results to decide how to continue. I'm not sure ? it seems harder to back search posts here now then several yrs ago? But that is what helped me. The best to u. There r many people on here who have been living with OP many years...20+ etc. We can do it. Hugs London ♥️

Yes 3.0 isn't too bad in my opinion but do take D3 plus K2 and get in the sunshine when possible for safe short bursts of natural sun. I am -4.6 so on Alendronic acid. If you don't want to take the bone medicine get advice on OTC supplement dosages and how to take for best effects. Then have another test in a year to make sure your supps are working. If not then really consider the designed treatments. Is my suggestion but always discuss with your trusted GP the steps you want to follow & get feedback before choosing not to medicate. I repeat about importance of natural sunshine boosts. Won't work through glass so try get some on your skin and scalp while practicing safe sunbathing. Good Luck!

Thank you. I will be taking K too. I also read here that people take boron, so I've added that as well....

I did a quick Google search about K2. I only read a few people get stomach aches or diarreah (sp). I copied what it does for us & attached it. Hope u can read it. Glad u r thinking about taking it. Will get those names to u tomorrow. Some people here do go to gyms, but many do on their own. Hugs. London ♥️
