Hello Dee. Are your T8,9&12 fractures recent? The T12 would be the one I would address as you are hoping to avoid lumbar fractures in the future. My first fracture was at lumbar 1 and it was so bad it could not be repaired. I lost 5.5 inches of height by the time the 3rd lumbar fractured. No more since 8 years of Prolia. The old fracture sites are always uncomfortable. Have you seen an endocrinologist regarding your Osteoporosis history? My kyphoplasty was performed using X-ray guidance. I hope you get some relief.

You might consider having xrays or CT. You may have compression fractures

I have 3 compression fractures T8,T9 and T12. I have an old one in T5. I asked the doctor to do Kephoplasty on that one and he refused. It flares up and gives me pain. It has been to long since the fracture happened to get Kephoplasty now. You have to get it within 6 months. My bones are to brittle to have surgery.
