I Have Recently Had Another Bone Density Scan. They Say I Am Moderate Risk. Doctor Unable To Provide More Clarity. Any Feedback Appreciated.

The World Health Organization classifies T scores as follows:
above -1 SD is normal.
between -1 and -2.5 SD is defined as mildly reduced bone mineral density (BMD) compared with peak bone mass (PBM)
at or below -2.5 SD is defined as osteoporosis.

Makes no sense to me ur Dr can't give u more clarity? Do u have copy of test results? U can research & discuss here ur numbers on ur scan results. Or ask ur Dr to send u to a specialist. Or take copy of ur results to another Dr. In U S. we have the right to get copy of our test results. Hugs. London ♥️

Thanks so much for the feedback. I can get my test results but am wanting more clarity around what term moderate means. Was wanting to determine whether I should be increasing my calcium intake etc. Have a good day everyone.

eat good fresh foods,get out in the sun even for 20mins.keep moving ..ask to see a physio...good luck
