I have been on Prolia for a few years and have had no issues .I had read all the negative reports too , but chose to go with it .I has also helped my thumbs which were swollen and painful and my last scan showed it had reversed my osteoporosis to osteopenia .Have another scan next month ,so that will be interesting .
You always have to have your injection on the due date ,that is very important .
I don't take risks and am extremely careful of hazards where I am walking.
Also take calcium, vitamin d and magnesium .

Hello,
I have been taking Prolia for almost 4 years after breaking both wrists over the course of the last 15 years.
I was sceptical at first too… but weighing up the situation with other options, I accepted this was the one for me.
I have had no side effects whatsoever and am sure to advise my dentist that I am taking Prolia.
I really notice the difference and my t scores have shown improvement on my dexa scans since taking Prolia.

So sorry you’ve had to go through that! I don’t know what to do. I ended up in the hospital from Reclast and Alendronate didn’t work. Best to you!

Hello,
You are going to hear positive and negative experiences with any drug as how each persons body reacts to them is an individual thing.
I had terrible side effects from prolia including losing 50% of my hair which has never grown back and 6 rebound fractures from stopping prolia after 3 injections and not being able to follow up with any bisphosphonates due to serious side effects from them.
Do you research- it’s all about benefits vs risks.
