Hi, I have been on forteo for several months, once a day injection ( super easy and teeny tiny needle doesn't hurt) I believe it is going to work and I believe it has . No real side effects for me. Bone pain is the most common but we had that already, right? Nothing severe , I take alot of supplements and I think the turmeric helps with any discomfort , of course sometimes I have to take advil. I really did not want to take forteo ( or anything similar ) but multiple fractures and trying alot of other naturopathic remedies to no avail, I researched myself into total confusion , then gave it up to prayer . Hope this helps. Everyone has to do what is right for them. Nutrition and movement still beat out everything the pharmacy throws at us, but sometimes a little help, at least that is how I feel. did Forteo help your density? i'm 61 and my Dr is asking me to consider this drug . thanks.

I took Forteo injections every night for 2 yrs with no side effects. Now the doc wants me to take fosamax which I am not taking because of the side effects. Want to go natural now . Reading all yr answers helpful
