Do Anyone Have A History Of Falling Asleep With There TV On

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I have slept with my TV on all of my life and I'm wondering if that contributed to my osteoporosis. I've heard that the radiation may have something to do with it. I also have eaten a lot of oxalated foods on a daily basis, food I thought was healthy. Spinach, egg plant, brown rice, corn, ovaltine, to name a few. It was only after I was diagnosed that I found out that oxalated foods prevent calcium absorption.

I sat down with my husbands dietitian. She was so wonderful and she was able to give me a clear and healthy way to make food for both us. Not only did I learn a lot from her I started reading up on bone loss and how to improve it. These are some things that have helped me make better food choices for my family.

I think it may be genetic too.
