Kuhn - As far as side effects go, the only side effect I experienced was atypical. I sometimes get pain across my lower back shortly after the shot. I lay down and it subsides. I learned to take my shot before bed and it is rarely a problem. I did report it to my doc, my pharmacy, Tymlos and the nurse that trained me on taking shots. I have never heard of this - Tymlos - Must check it out - I would approach my Dr - I am due for my only 2nd Prolia jab later this month. I believe this can only be taken for up to 4 years only. I shall check with my Dr next visit, I try to keep active and eat calcium enriched foods - Dates and broccoli contain calcium also.
Thinking about starting a parathyroid stimulator like Tymlos. I'd be interested to know what if any side effects you had. I know you can only take it for 2 years but I don't know if it is worth the cost (which is substantial).
