Many women go every year for a blood test check, and get tested for many different things depending on their own health issues. Because I have osteoporosis, I have my blood checked for calcium and D. You can have it checked for magnesium also, but my insurance won't cover that. Then when my results come back, I look at the "normal" range, then I compare it to "my" scores. That gives my doctor and me a good idea how much to raise or lower my supplement intake. Ask your doctor for a copy of your blood results and keep them for comparison to see how you are doing from year to year.
