Sorry Donna. I feel your pain with bone breaks. If they slow down your infusion from the usual rate to a slower infuse it stops the flu like affects as its just your body reacting to the infusion.

Had 3 so far no side effects,Going to have dexa scan before any more to see how its working

Hi I had Zoledronic acid 2 yrs ago and no side affects. Yes I think it was useful and due again soon. I'm 65 yrs and told I need them every 2 yrs and will be happy to have again. I'm not happy about having osteoporosis but not much I can do about it. It does get you down sometimes though.

I have had them for 3 years now. I'm 57 yrs old. They make me feel like I have flu and ache and burn my bones a bit
I don't think they've worked great as I've just broken my leg and ankle in a fall
