How Often Should I Have A Bone Density Scan? Am On Prolea And My GP Won't Order A Scan As He Doesn't Think It Is Necessary
Every 2 years here in Australia !
I have been having a dexa scan every two years for some time now. My last scan showed -2.95 in my hips and -2.75 in my spine.
Haven't had a scan for years now, Dr didn't order one before he started me on Prolia, which is nearly 2 years ago. Saw him today and finally having one in 3 weeks. Thanks for all your comments, they are as always very helpful.
