Does Anyone Here With Severe Osteoporosis Of Spine And Hips Also Have Scoliosis?l
Hi my orthopaedic doctor kept sending me for lower back MRI I said what about the thumbing pains in my upper back so she sent me miles away for an upper body MRI and my results came back I have a fragility fracture with fragments broken of just at the back were your bra closes so I'm just shoved more tablets. I decided to try medical canabis oil so I had to go and get my medical records and reading that was awful it rid patient is over weight and won't exercise says she's to sore .so I made my mine up to go on a diet I have a stone and a half of so that's helping calm my back pains down a bit I have cut down the gabapentin from 3 three times a day I'm down to 1 gabapentin as they cause weight gain along with mirtazapine which also cause weight gain and after all the hard work for medical canabis I couldn't even take the stuff I didn't like the feelings of it so I'm still dieting fingers crossed I will lose more weight sorry for moaning xx
I have osteoporosis, kyphosis and spinal stenosis and also have long term gut problems. I bought a brace to support my spine, but am usually too bloated to wear it. I've been offered no help or advice from doctors. I had to ask for a dexa scan!
My Pilates teacher is amazing - she's also a chartered physiotherapist. She adapts the exercises for me. I'm still in pain a lot of the time, however, and the condition affects the way I walk. I feel as if I'm clomping instead of walking smoothly.
Much love to all with similar conditions. I wish there were better outcomes for us.
