When I tried fosomax when I was newly diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2017, I developed corrosive esophagitis. Following a wrist fracture in 2019, I tried Prolia which literally made me miserable with adverse side effects for more than 6 months. Both times, I was advised by my doctor to discontinue the drugs and was instructed to list them as “allergies” on my hospital chart, due to the adverse side effects.
