Has Anyone Done Bone Medication Via An Iv Infusion?

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭
Brandon, Manitoba Canada

I am looking to find out which drug people have tried and what side effects were encountered. I have Barrett’s esophagus and can’t do pill form. Thanks for any information.

I take a Reclast infusion about every six to seven months. No side effects from it but you don't want to have any major dental work done two to three months before or after. Apparently the jawbone heals differently than other bones. So having the infusion too close to major work could be a problem. Best to discuss it with your dentist first.
