Had A Pelvic Frature Over The Summer. On A Walker For 3 Months. I Go Back For Another X-ray In Feb.
Dr. asked if I wanted to go on Prolia. I was not sure. He said it does not make bones stronger. It just pauses the loss of bone while on Prolia. When you come off, your bones are the same as when you went on Prolia. Anyone have any ideas on what to go on??
Thank you Judy for your help. I also take vitamin D3 and K2 daily. You sound like you are doing wonderful. Love and hugs from Ellen xxx
Keren - I also have started Collagen Peptides. I hear good things about it, so fingers crossed they help both of us. I also cannot take a lot of medicines like you. Thank you for getting back to me. Ellieann xxx
I am trying a supplement “Collagen for bone mineral density with fortibone Its a peptide The title probably is Osteo Boost. You buy it from England. My son did research for me and suggested I try this. I can’t take lots of other medications and I have dairy allergies which makes things a bit awkward. But this is no problem and I’m hoping it will show improvement in my bone density
Hi Josie - I also take D3, C, B12, K2. Thank you for posting me. It is good to have someone to talk to who is going through the same bone density problem.
@ Ellieann, my bone density has not improved in my spine much.
Stable elsewhere. I also take vitamins everyone takes, vit D3, C ,K2, fish oil, probiotics.
