When I started to take vitamin K my vitamin D increased from 32 to 40 in four months. My last Dexa scan did not have much change at all. I also have 4 prunes a day which is good for your bones

I take a D3 and K2 combo pill and have for years. They say the D3 works better when they are combined. Ive never had a problem. My spine numbers keep getting lower but then i take other things too and exercise.

Ellieann, I am wondering if you hadn't taken all those helpful supplements, how much worse your bones would be??? I believe all those supplements helped your bones more than you think.

Yes, and I took a K2 supplement until I fractured my knee and developed a provoked blood clot (deep vein thrombosis). My PCP told me to no longer take K2, although he said the 57 grams of Jarlsberg cheese I eat most days should be okay. His latter statement sounded noncommittal.
