I had a wonderful doctor who worked with me to try almost everything that was out there when this first started….Prolia was new and experimental and was my last chance for drug help at the time…I was very afraid of possible side effects, but I’d tried at least 4 of the others available- couldn’t tolerate them, except for Forteo for 2 years, which helped a great deal.(Downside was having to inject in stomach each day) Once THAT was over, there was Prolia…I am lucky that the timing was perfect.
