Is It Possible To Control Bone Loss Just With Exercise And Eating Healthy?

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had osteopenia but this year I crossed over to osteoporosis. I am very active and regularly exercise. After reading the side effects of Prolia, I am afraid to go on medications. I one of those who avoid medications like a plague.

Some people might be able to, I have heard of it but they are very lucky. I think you need not only plenty of calcium and protein and magnesium in food but health supplements as well and weight bearing exercise, but some people go down the pharmaceutical route with the bone drugs but you have to make your own choices 😉 🤗

I am taking Prolia and my bone density has improved after Fosamax did nothing to help. I am tired and do wake up in the night, but nothing interferes with my life in general.
