Make a rice heating pad that you can heat in the microwave. sew up some pockets using 100% cotton (no polyester, can catch fire) I made a long strip with 4 pockets measuring about 30" total length. I filled them with long grain jasmine rice & sewed them closed.

I also have Ostioporosis and my electric blanket or hit water bottle helps. I also get a lot of relief from massaging with Emu Oil which I am never without! I call it my jar of miracles!
So sad to hear you had the health problem at such a young age but you have done well in keeping on going. Long soaks in hot mineral pools in Taupo and Rotorua when I can get time there does wonders. Wish I could live up there. Sigh
