How long did you go there? Did it help decrease pain? It sounds very expensive? I'm having a consultation this coming Monday. How much did it cost and do you think it was worth it? My doctor said my insurance won't cover the cost of another scan for 2 years. I'm wondering if I should do it for 2 years, have another scan and see if my bone density has improved.

When I was first prescribed Prolia I was told it was for two years. I was taken off of it after four doses which improved my bone density. But then was placed back on after my bone density worsened. It has been several years now that I continue to receive Prolia shots.

I have put off starting anything until next endocrine appointment. I do not want to risk jaw problems, I have dental surgery next month.
I am supposed to be getting stenosis surgery soon. Should I be concerned about healing if I am on medication?

I'm feeling very lost. I was told 18 + months ago that I have osteoporosis and I've been waiting for a bone scan since then. I was prescribed a tablet containing vitamin d and calcium. I have developed a stoop which is getting worse all the time. I can feel a hunch developing. I was already in a lot of pain from a road accident 40 years ago and fibromyalgia

I have a large hietal hernia in my esophagus that my GI Dr worries is irriitated by the Fosamax.
I also have concern about Osteonecrosis from ongoing dental procedures. My PCP notes that the med
no longer seems effective and would like me to see a specialist for future osteosporosis treatment. What
kind of doctor would be most effective and appropriate for me to see. PCP mentioned endocrinologist but I
am thinking rheumatologist.
Your advice would be much appreciated.

I have had gastroscopy and MRI but nothing found. Been put on ibs treatment but pain and discomfort persists every day. What can I do?

This summer I was in good health. In august I had the Prolia shot. In September I began having breathing problems. An X-ray and Scan show that my lungs are fine and my heart is not enlarged. The breathing is getting worse. I noticed on their literature that this is one of the side effects. Thanks for your thoughts.
