I always thought that the pain in my joints, especially in my hands and knees was just part of aging. Now I don't know if the pain is from osteo or just age

I refused bone meds out of fear of side effects and have suffered four vertebral fractures and scoliosis. I am miserable and now my oncologist says they probably can’t be fixed by Kyphoplasty because I have discs involved. But I need an MRI and to see a neurosurgeon. I was diagnosed at 42 which was 2 years ago. Caused by to my knowledge ppi use, steroids, being very slim and other health issues. I put on 5 kgs since my scan in 2016 but still slim and had a scan this August hoping, as did my consultant, that my condition had improved. I have osteoporosis in my spine and a specialist nurse here in Aberdeen told me not to do yoga or Pilates that the only thing she would recommend is tai chi for balance I have had two fractures within 11 months of fractured wrist and a fractured shoulder also I am filling up forms And some people class it as a chronic illness and others don’t what do others think

I have been diagnosed with 2 compression fractures one of T7 and L4 over a year ago, T7 still causes me pain especially when I'm on my feet for extended periods of time and when I perform house cleaning jobs such as vacuuming and mopping floors. I work in retail so I have no alternative but to be on my feet for 7 to 8 hours a day. Everything I've read said they should heal within 6 to 8 weeks but I just dont that is my case. Any feed back is welcome!

How long did it take to feel better? Before it doesn't hurt or I can walk normally? Or exercise? It's been 8 days now.

When my doc gave me one more year on it, and if not better going to different type of doc. I was not prepared for what he said( his nurse). With the virus keeping us home I was waiting to talk next appointment. I’m wondering what type of doc he would send me to. Have degenerative disc, two back surgeries. One bone fusion, the other plates and screws.
