I am 57,have NEVER had toothache up to now. Cant help wonderin if alandronic acid anythin to do with this? Been takin about 2months.
I believe that the osteoporosis meds contribute to sore gums and teeth.
Medicine Side Effects
My doctor is telling me I need to go on meds for my Osteo. My Son, who is in the dental field, is telling me that all of these meds affect your gums and teeth; sometimes making dental procedures more risky and harder. I don't want this. What are your experiences and what meds do you recommend. And what natural things can I do.
Google the meds and check out the side effects. I have turned them down because of the side effects and going the natural route.
Just Started Tymlos Injections Has Anyone Had Experience With TYMLOS ?
I am getting ready to start this drug soon. I will keep my fingers crossed and at least try it........Hope it works it’s magic with little side effects.........
Crushing Torso,rib Pain
Hi, new member here. Im 52, diagnosed 2010. No medicine. No issues. Then a year ago I had a sciatic nerve (ie-rod in leg feeling) issue & lower back pain. A few mths later I had a multiple fractures from my neck to tail bone. 6mths ago had kyphoplasty on 3 thorasic,3 lumbar. DXA -5.6 spine, -4.0 both hips. Been on tymlos 4 mths. What Is The “bone Stimulator” Some Of You Have Mentioned?
I’m recovering from a stress fracture in my left femur. I had an injection of Prolia shortly before diagnosis, and was told that would slow down healing since the drug slows down bone turnover in general. Perhaps a “bone stimulator” would help?
