She's been managing fairly well for the last10 yrs until recently when out of the blue she found herself in terrible debilitating pain. After an xray, reluctantly requested by GP she was found to have 'several' fractures of her lower vertebrae and compacted discs. The pain is intense with dreadful pain all the way down her left leg and in her foot, which I think is nerve pain. What Form Of Exercise Can I Take

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭
Nantwich, Cheshire

I'm afraid of doing anything except walking and swimming for fear of hurting myself, but I get bored with these. My osteoporosis is mild in my spine and moderate in my hips. I've had two crush fractures. My back can be extremely painful. I've tried Pilates and yoga, but some of the excersises really hurt my upper back, so I end up not doing anything! I used to love cycling, but I've lost all my confidence and can't balance anymore as I'm so scared of falling off.

Prolia, my Doctor said, would be a lifetime drug but she said Reclast, which is only administered once a year, could be the answer to not being on medication forever.
