Isn't It Odd That Almost All The Doctors Are Ready To Handout Prescription Medications For Anything That Is Wrong With Us?

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭
Las Vegas, NV

Isn't it odd that almost all the doctors are ready to handout prescription medications for anything that is wrong with us, INSTEAD of telling us that we must eat better and get the proper exercise or physical therapy to help our conditions??? I wish we had good and caring doctors who followed the oath they made, when they became a doctor.

Pain And Osteoporosis

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question 💭
Pensacola, FL

I have osteoporosis, and I am happy to say I have not had any broken bones! My bone density test show my 60 year old bones are like that of an 80+ year old women. However I am in pain every day, my knees, hips
,back and hands hurt the most. But my doctors say there is no pain with osteoporosis until you have a fracture or break. And X-rays have not shown much arthritis. How "much" do I need to have for them to explain the pain I have? Have any of you had pain without fracture or arthritis?

I was diagnosed via a Dexascan by my GYN. She has since retired, and I would prefer someone who is trained in osteoporosis.

I’ve heard that dexa scan only measures density of lumbar region so you can’t know if you have it further up your spine. It’s always my upper back I have pain in.
