Hello, I'm New Here.πŸ™‚

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question πŸ’
Hampshire, UK

I'm in a great deal of pain most days from several spinal fractures and spend a lot of time lying on my bed as it's the only way I get relief from the pain. I have a compromised immune system (lupus and antiphospholipid syndrome) among many other health issues, if I cut or injure myself for example, I take a long time to heal
As I have very little immune system, I'm scared that my spinal fractures will never heal. My rheumatologist told me they cannot be operated on as I'm too old, (age 67) and… read more

Frozen Shoulder

A MyOsteoTeam Member asked a question πŸ’
Amarillo, TX

Has anyone developed a frozen shoulder after being on Fosamax? I've been on Fosamax for about 4 months and developed severe shoulder and arm pain. MRI and x-rays show a bit of a labrum tear and the right shoulder joint is frozen. Can't put my hand above my head or behind my back. I will start physical therapy in June. I've been using heat, ice and muscle relaxers. There was no "event" that caused the shoulder to be frozen. It just started hurting.

A MyOsteoTeam Member

What muscle relaxers did you use and did it help? Thank you. I am not on any meds but also cannot do the things you are unable to do. I also had no "event" that caused my frozen shoulder/bursitis.
