Whoosh Of Pain In Lower Back And Legs. Legs Are Weak And Heavy.
Over the last month I have had an odd occurrence of pain and weakness in my legs. It has happened three times. Suddenly I feel a whoosh of pain in my back that shoots down my legs. Pain subsides relatively quickly however my legs feel very heavy and weak. Makes it difficult to walk and stand. Am wondering if it is all related to my osteoporosis in my spine and hip. Scary when this happens.
I know the feeling. I twisted my knee and was slow to recover .it's hard.
Diagnosis
My fingers are starting to go crooked, I have pain in both index fingers, ring fingers. Also now I have ache in my thumb. Dr said it looks like ostio. They have never tested for anything. I have never had an answer. I am getting lumps on first joints also. Can they do blood test to say what this is? Thank you
Just waiting for weather to get better, then I will for sure do that. Thank you
Prolia Or Reclast ? Which Is Best?
I don't know as this was the first bone scan. The Dr presumed with my age 74 and a compression fracture in my T7 that I have osteoporosis. I finally got him to get a bone scan.
Vitamins
I was told to take vit D 5000 a day for Osteopenia (borderline Osteoporosis). Is it good to take
calcium also? Should I go to my regular doctor of a specialist.
Suggestions.
thank you,
i'm really curious about Algae Cal too has anyone used it and seen the dramatic results they claim?

Cramps In Legs, Feet And Hands
Hi there!
This just started in the last week - guess you could call it cramps or Charlie horses. My legs if I stretch them during the night or while sitting….feet…toes curl and hurt terribly….same with fingers.
Any one else having these problems?
I am already taking magnesium and calcium…
Not sure which dr to talk to about this!
I think that is a good idea and couldn't hurt to try.
